Mini PBX and IP telephony

Mini PBX is a network of company internal central telephone lines to which the landline is connected for incoming and outgoing calls.
This type of connection was invented in the 80s of the 20th century. Where companies need to connect their employees to an internal office central telephone network, however, since it is not desired to assign a different city number to each subscriber, a serious demand for such an invention has arisen.
Among the important shortcomings of the mentioned technology, it can be noted that the functionality is not rich, there are few landline numbers that can be connected for incoming calls, and at the same time there are certain limitations for internal numbers in large institutions.

Finally, after many years, IP telephony entered the existing "market".
Despite the massive adoption of IP telephony systems in business management in recent years, traditional telephony is still used by many organizations.
